AMERICANA – E-Journal of American Studies in Hungary, supported and maintained by the Department of American Studies at the Institute of English and American Studies, University of Szeged, has been launched to provide a forum for students and scholars who are actively engaged in studying the culture of the United States of America and the Americas. Manuscripts written in English should be sent through the website.

AMERICANA is double blind peer-reviewed, entirely non-profit, copyrights of the articles are licensed under Creative Commons 4.0 (CC BY-NC). This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

The language of publication is English. Authors publishing with us retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions. AMERICANA does not charge any fees for publication. The journal serves exclusively as an educational and academic forum for scholars and students having interest in the field of American Studies. The views expressed in the essays do not necessarily reflect the views of the editors of AMERICANA.
